General Information

Sports Management Department was opened in 1993. General Culture, Management Sciences and Sports courses are given in the Department of Sports Management. It was established to train sports managers. There is also a  branch of Sports Management Sciences  .

The staff has 3 professors, 5 assistant professors and 7 research assistants. Under the Department of Physical Education and Sports in our  school  , master's and doctorate trainings are given in the field of “ Sport Management Sciences ” under the Health Sciences Institute . " Master's Programs without Thesis" Programs have been opened in the fields of " Sport Management Sciences " since the 2004-2005 academic year.

Graduates of our department are in the Tourism sector, Sporting Organizations, GSGM, Federations, Sports Media, Managing in Fitness Halls, Managing in Sports Clubs etc. has job opportunities in the fields.

Achieving sports culture, adopting the philosophy of Olympicism, specializing in a certain area of ​​sports and sports organizations, and giving the society the ability to explain and spread.

Mission

• To be able to analyze the internal and external environment of sports organizations, to solve their problems and to make decisions and practice according to changing conditions.
• Using professional and individual communication skills and giving written and oral presentations.

To have coaching, leadership, mentoring and analytical thinking skills.
